Let me run your grants program.
-
Research New Prospects
Have you uncovered all the most aligned and impactful public and private funding opportunities? I’ll do a review of your grants program and an external analysis to identify potential new prospects.
-
Build a Grants Calendar
Are you applying for the right opportunities, at the the right time? Are you making the right asks and asking for the right amount? I’ll build a strategic grants calendar than matches the organizations funding priorities and resources.
-
Write and Submit the Grants
Do you have capacity to write all the grant proposals, manage the required grant attachments, and get everything submitted on time? I will write, organize, and submit on behalf of the organization. You review and approve, but I’ll do that hard part.
Consider a Fractional Institutional Development Director
If your organization has 1 - 3 dedicated development staff, but the grant applications are continually getting rushed, missed, or they’re taking up valuable time from other activities, you might be a perfect fit for a Fractional Institutional Development Director. You could hire a grants coordinator, but that person will need training, supervision, and they probably won’t know how to find new aligned prospects or strategically build a grants calendar.
As a Fractional Institutional Development Director, I am a senior-level fundraiser with specific expertise in foundation, public, and corporate giving. For the same or lower cost than hiring a new staff member, I can just handle your grants program.
Invest in your institutional funding
How many grants do you write per month?
We’ll develop a grants calendar that’s achievable within our agreed upon investment.
What is the investment?
Fractional Institutional Development Director services begin at $4,500 per month and increases depending on the size of the grants calendar. The base level will typically include 2 - 4 proposals per month. We recommend a 12-month commitment.
Do you begin writing proposals right away?
In the first month of our engagement, I will learn about your organization, conducting a detailed review of your grant proposals and grants calendar. Writing proposals can begin in the second month of our work together.
